About

Hi. I’m Holli. Welcome to my blog. 🙂

I believe that all of life is a gift from God to be lived gratefully with Him. This blog is a place for me to record my observations, thoughts, and other creative ventures along the way. Hope you enjoy!

About me:

I love my family!

I’m thankful for my church and the opportunity to worship and serve with my brothers and sisters in Christ each week.

Currently, I teach 2 and 3-year-olds at a Christian preschool in my hometown. I love my students  and the opportunity to teach them not only about colors, shapes, and numbers, but also about the Lord and their need for Him. I also love the challenge of figuring out how to teach them to live well––personal responsibility for actions, how to be happy, how to be kind, etc. It’s mostly trial and error at this point, though, so if anyone has any tips, I’m all ears. 🙂 Potty-training, on the other hand, I’m not too crazy about. 🙂

In the limited amount of free time I have, I enjoy being outdoors, reading, talking with friends and family, crafting, thinking, and writing.

If you’re interested, you can find some of my other creative writings (and some of my friend’s—you should definitely check his stuff out) @melenoria.com.

Most of all, I’m thankful for the Lord. I am a broken, sin-bent girl who struggles every day with temptations, and I fail way too often. But because of Christ’s death on the cross in my place, I am forgiven. I get to enjoy life in the presence of Emmanuel, God with us, everyday and then forever in Heaven. His deep, persistent, mind-blowing love is the reason I keep getting up from where I’ve fallen to war against sin. He is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. I am so grateful to be His.  ❤
